Q- How often should my trash and recycle bins be cleaned?

A- We recommend cleaning your bins on a monthly basis.


Q- You have cleaned my trash bin twice but there is still grime inside the bin. Why is this?

A- We have found that some of the trash or recycle bins we service can take a few cleaning cycles to remove the grime that has built up over time. We will eliminate any odors and germs every time we clean your bins.


Q: Do I have to sign up ALL of my trash bins?

A: No. You can sign up one or as many as you would like. All pricing is per trash bin. This is also true after a one-time trash cleaning if you elect to continue the service on a monthly basis.


Q: Do you provide a one-time trash bin cleaning service?

A: Yes. The cost is higher because trash bins that are not cleaned routinely, will take much longer to clean.

Please note: Our technicians will try their very best to get your trash bins clean. However, there is no guarantee all the grime and build-up will be removed with a one-time cleaning. Depending on the amount and type of build-up on the trash bins and how long ago they were last cleaned.  Your trash bins could require more than a one-time cleaning. For this reason, we do offer a monthly payment option exclusively to our one-time customers. After the one-time cleaning you can elect to continue the service each month, with the monthly payment option, and discontinue the service at any time, with a minimum of three cleaning.


Q: Can I alternate or rotate trash bins each cleaning cycle?

A: No. Each container has its own identity and only trash bins that have a scheduled service will be cleaned.


Q: What happens if I move out of my service area?

A: If you are anticipating that you might be moving out of our service area, please give us a call to discuss the possibility of a monthly payment option.


Q: If my trash bins are not available for servicing, can I expect the driver to knock on my door?

A: Yes, for an additional fee.  Please notify us if you would like to order this service for $5.00 per cleaning. The technician will knock on your door and wait while the trash bins are made available.


Q: Will you place the trash bins by the garage, after service?

A: Yes, for an additional fee. The technician will return the trash bin(s) back to the garage after service. Please notify us if you would like to order this service for $3.00 per cleaning.


Q: What if my trash bins have trash in them the day after my trash is picked up?

A: We would prefer the trash bins to be empty. Our technician will remove 1 to 2 bags of trash, clean your trash bins, and then place the bags back inside when done.

NOTE: We reserve the right not to provide service if:

  • Unbagged trash – including excessive loose trash, yard clippings, diapers or animal waste.
  • Hazardous waste – including chemicals, paint, glue, or other adhesives.
  • Building materials – including plaster, stucco, or concrete.

As part of our excellent customer service, if the technician cannot service a trash bin for any reason, he will take pictures showing why the trash bin was not cleaned and leave you a notice indicating the reason.


Q: What if your truck does not show up on my scheduled cleaning day?

A: If this were to happen, we would notify you as soon as possible and will reschedule at a later date. If this is not possible, we will return on your next scheduled cleaning day and provide a credit for that month.


Q: How will I know when my trash bins have been cleaned and it is OK to bring them inside?

A: We will place an easily removable tape on the lid to confirm that the container has been cleaned.


Q: What if I am away and cannot have my trash bins available to you on my service day?

A: Simply call or email us in advance of your cleaning day and we will skip your scheduled cleaning, and clean it on our next available day. Unfortunately, if you do not notify us and we arrive to provide the service, you will be charged.


Q: What if my HOA will not allow my bin(s) out past a certain time on trash collection day…and certainly not the day after?

A: Provide us the contact information to the HOA Board and/or Manager and we will discuss the situation with them to see if we might be able to come up with a possible solution. We are willing to work with HOA’s. We’ll help them understand the health and benefits to the community. We also, offer discounted rates for serving the entire community


Q: What if I forget my scheduled cleaning day or lose my cleaning schedule?

A: No problem, if you email us at info@firstclassbin.com we will send you out a new schedule.

As a courtesy, we do provide a service reminder the week of or the day before. It is an automated system with no guarantees. Just notify us if you are not receiving the reminder or would like to change/add a phone or email notification.  If we arrive to provide the service and your trash bin(s) are not available, you will be charged.
